The Spikes illusion

A woman is locked up in a box and two highly charged electric spikes are inserted to the box from the left and the right.

The spikes are inserted until the bases or them disappear. But, when the magician opens the lid, there is only smoke and the woman is no longer there.

Then the magician closes the lid and removes the spikes. When he opens the lid again, out of the box appears a man.
